EDP Nedir?
• EDP (Equinox Dans Projesi) aralarında görme engelli dansçıların da bulunduğu, doğaçlama (improvisation) tekniği ile çalışan bir çağdaş dans topluluğudur.
Amaç
• EDP'nin amacı, yurtdışında oldukça yaygın ve popüler olmasına rağmen yurtiçinde yeni tanınmakta olan ‘Dance for Camera' projeleri ve sahne performansı projeleri üretmek, ve bu projeleri yurtiçi ve yurtdışında düzenlenen dans ve danskamera festivallerinde sergilemektir.

• 29 Nisan ‘Dünya Dans Günü' çerçevesinde Florya Lions Klübü ve Altı Nokta Körler Vakfı'nın ortaklaşa düzenleyecekleri organisazyonda sahne performansı.

EQUINOX DANCE PROJECT
The dance project is about how the boundaries, prejudices and barriers that shape our thoughts blind us to what we can achieve.
It takes the common perception that to be physically blind is a barrier to enjoying the freedom of music and dance. In fact, it is we who are blinded by mistaken prejudices to the pure appreciation of life. In this performance by both blind and seeing dancers, we learn that it is those who are blind who have no barriers to their capacity for living. In pushing back their boundaries, they also open our seeing eyes to beauty that we could not otherwise appreciate. Their courage prompts us to question the boundaries that hold us back from appreciating all of life.
The dance tells us to open our eyes.
It begs us to see the music.
